Template Licence

What you may and may not do with an HA Notion template after purchase or free duplication.

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This document applies to the HA Notion website, digital products and related services unless a product page, proposal or separate agreement states otherwise.

01

Licence grant

When you obtain an HA Notion template, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use and customise that template under these terms.

You receive permission to use the product. Ownership of the original design, structure, content and intellectual property remains with HA Notion.

02

Standard permitted use

  • Duplicate the template into your own Notion workspace.
  • Customise wording, properties, views, icons and visual styling.
  • Use the template for your own personal activities.
  • Use the template internally in your own business.
  • Store your own information, projects, processes and original content inside it.
  • Create private backups for your own legitimate use.
03

Team use

Unless a product page states otherwise, a standard licence is intended for one purchaser and their own personal or internal business use.

Sharing with employees or team members is permitted only where the purchased licence or product description expressly includes team use. Additional licences may be required for larger organisations.

04

Client use

A standard licence does not automatically permit a freelancer, consultant or agency to distribute copies to multiple clients.

Unless an extended licence is provided, obtain a separate licence for each client who will receive or retain a duplicate of the template.

05

Prohibited use

  • Selling, sublicensing, renting or redistributing the template.
  • Sharing the original duplicate link, download link or source files publicly.
  • Uploading the product to a marketplace, membership library or shared resource folder.
  • Giving copies to people outside the licensed individual or organisation.
  • Using the template as the main basis of a competing template product.
  • Claiming that the original template, structure or written content was created by you.
  • Removing ownership information for the purpose of misleading others about authorship.
06

Customised versions

You may customise a template heavily for your own permitted use. Customisation does not transfer ownership of the original product or permit redistribution.

Original information and content you add to the template remains yours.

07

Free templates

Free HA Notion templates remain licensed products. Receiving a template without payment does not place it in the public domain or remove the restrictions on redistribution and resale.

08

Notion and third-party content

Notion is a third-party platform. This licence does not grant ownership of Notion software, trademarks or platform features.

Any third-party icons, fonts, images or resources remain subject to their respective licences.

09

Termination

The licence may end if you materially violate these terms. If the licence ends, you must stop distributing or using unauthorised copies and remove them where reasonably possible.

Termination does not affect rights or remedies relating to an earlier violation.

Questions and extended licences

Contact HA Notion before purchasing if you need a team, client, educational, resale, white-label or other extended licence.

Permission is only valid when confirmed in writing by HA Notion.
